富士通、Azure対応ミドルウェアをマーケットプレイスで販売

富士通はWindows Azureに対応した基幹システム向けミドルウェアをWindows Azure Marketplaceで販売する。世界初の取り組みだという。

　富士通は7月29日、Windows Azure Platformおよび、それを基盤とするFujitsu Global Cloud Platform FGCP/A5 Powered by Windows Azureに対応するミドルウェア製品群を発表した。同日より世界同時に販売を開始する。

　今回発表されたミドルウェア製品は、既存の基幹システムで多く使われているJavaやCOBOLの実行環境を提供したり、オンプレミス環境とパブリッククラウド環境をシームレスにつなげたりするための機能を提供する。富士通は「オンプレミスで構築されていた高信頼な基幹システムと同様のアプリケーションを、Windows Azure Platformで実行できるようになる」としている。具体的な製品は以下の通り。

• Interstage Application Server V1 powered by Windows Azure
• NetCOBOL 運用パッケージ V1 powered by Windows Azure
• Systemwalker Operation Manager V1 powered by Windows Azure
• Interstage List Creator V1 powered by Windows Azure
• Systemwalker Centric Manager V13.5（機能強化）
• Interstage Information Integrator V10.2（機能強化）

　これらの製品は、Windows Azure Marketplaceでも販売する。Windows Azure Marketplaceがミドルウェア製品を扱うのは、今回の取り組みが初だという。
