59件の脆弱性のうち、XML Core ServicesやWindows Remote Desktop Clientに存在する9件は危険度「Critical」に分類されている。

　Microsoftは2019年10月8日（日本時間9日）、10月の月例セキュリティ更新プログラムを公開、WindowsやInternet Explorer（IE）などに存在する深刻な脆弱（ぜいじゃく）性に対処している。
